Infants and Toddlers

Ages 6 weeks to 18 months

Our program is specifically designed to enhance your child's innate curiosity, exploration, and learning abilities in a caring, nurturing, and supportive environment designed for young children. At Growing Seeds Montessori, we aim to encourage infants to learn and grow at their own pace while instilling confidence and independence from a young age. Our extensively trained teachers closely observe infants and provide appropriate materials and developmental support to help them thrive.

To Ease Your Mind

Our school prioritizes the safety and well-being of our students. We understand the importance of a nurturing, secure, and hygienic environment for your little ones' growth and development. As such, we assure you that all our teachers have undergone rigorous background checks and that our staff is CPR/First Aid trained. We also have a comprehensive emergency plan to ensure your child's safety. We have considered every detail to protect your child's well-being so you can rest easy. Your infant will receive the best possible care at our school in a beautiful, safe, and clean environment.

A Home Away from Home

Our classrooms are designed entirely around the needs of your child. Infant-size shelves display beautiful materials designed to stimulate your child’s senses. A lovely, clean, tidy crib waits for your child to sleep when tired. Teachers speak in gentle tones, and the décor is understandable and homelike. Your child will feel at home in an environment created just for them.

Communicating with You

As your child grows, every milestone is a reason to celebrate. From crawling to taking their first steps and uttering their first words, we understand the importance of each step in your child's development journey. Our commitment to you is to communicate closely and ensure that we always do what is best for your child's growth.

Trained Teachers

Our infant classrooms are led by Montessori teachers who undergo a comprehensive training program in child development from birth to age three. This program equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to create an optimal educational experience for their child. Being a Montessori teacher is more than just a job - it's a career of choice driven by a love for infants, a passion for Montessori education, and an unwavering commitment to doing what's best for children.

Consistency and Balance

To provide your infant with personalized care, love, and attention, we have designed a program that ensures one adult is assigned to every four children. We understand that infants are sensitive to change and routine, so we try to maintain consistency to help your child feel safe and comfortable. Our team observes and documents your child's needs to create a customized sleeping and eating schedule that meets their unique requirements. This information is shared with you when you return, enabling you to stay informed about your child's day.

Next Step

As your child grows and reaches 18 months of age, they become more prepared for challenging learning experiences. Our Pre-primary Program offers just that. To make this transition as smooth as possible, we arrange brief preprimary classroom visits for your toddler starting at 16 months. To facilitate the change, we schedule a meeting with the new teacher and organize a brief classroom visit before the move. Our team has taken great care in planning this transition to ensure you and your child feel comfortable throughout the process.
